Texas-born baritone David Adam Moore made his operatic debut in the title role of Billy Budd with New Israeli Opera. He has since appeared with Teatro alla Scala as Demetrius (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Maximilian (Candide) and Cascada (Die Lustige Witwe); Staatsoper Hannover, National Theather Mannheim and Opera Keil as Don Giovanni; with New York City Opera as Papageno (Die Zauberflöte); and Théâtre du Châtelet. Other recent engagements include a U.K. debut as Prior Walter in Eötvös’ Angels in America with the BBC Symphony, a role he also performed at Ft. Worth Opera; Zurga in Les Pêcheurs des Perles with Seattle Opera; Guglielmo in Così fan tutte with Seattle Opera and Arizona Opera; Marcello in La bohème, Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet with San Diego Opera; Ned Keene in Peter Grimes with New Israeli Opera and Aeneas in Dido at Glimmerglass Opera. He has performed Carmina Burana with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, in his Carnegie Hall debut, and Silvio in Pagliacci with San Diego Opera.
