Junior Committee

The mission of Junior Committee is to maintain and cultivate an interest in opera and opera education, and to promote ticket sales among the young people of New Orleans. We support the Opera Association through educational, fundraising, and goodwill programs.

Become a Member of the Junior Committee

The Junior Committee is comprised of “Active Juniors” who are women between the ages of 20 and 40 and “Associates” who are also active members of the Women’s Guild. Annual membership is $25 for Active Juniors and $15 for Associates.

Support the Junior Committee

For those of you ineligible for membership, we invite you to make a donation to the Junior Committee. While not official members of the Junior Committee, those donating $25 or more will be invited to attend our Opening Night Socials where you will receive complimentary wine for yourselves and one guest. Supporters will also receive event announcements via e-mail and a formal invitation to the Wine Auction.
