What is the purpose of Community Conversations?

To encourage authentic engagement and share knowledge and resources. Thought leaders, experts, and community members are brought together to discuss relevant topics inspired by the season’s operas that are important to the New Orleans community today.

To build awareness and effect sustainable change: Community Conversations bring together various community voices around a central touchpoint to engage in an open, facilitated dialogue to discover common ground and paths to understanding or change.

Community Conversations is curated and led by Dr. Tara A. Melvin. Pictured here at Student Night Out.
