Due to recent status of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the Governor’s temporary ban on public events of over 250 people, NOOA must cancel our production of Charlie Parker’s Yardbird. We understand this decision is disappointing to our audiences; however, the health and safety of our guests, artists, staff members, and our entire community is our first and greatest priority. Regarding our production of The Magic Flute on May 1st and 3rd, 2020, we are monitoring the situation and will adjust and announce as necessary. The Women’s Guild Mad Hatter’s fundraiser has been postponed and the date is to be determined.
Your support of New Orleans Opera Association, through the purchase of tickets is invaluable to what we present on stage, in classrooms, and out in the community. To continue that support, we have provided the option of donating the price of your ticket to the organization. All donations are tax deductible and go a long way to ensure that we are able to present outstanding opera for years to come. Thank you for your consideration.
