Describe your job in 25 words or less: Serving as one of the front-line representatives for the Association, my job is to provide superlative customer service to all of our patrons, artists and promoters.
What is your idea of perfect happiness? Being fortunate enough to wake up each morning knowing that my family and I are all healthy and happy.
What is your greatest fear? Not being here for my son.
Which living person do you most admire? Without question it is my son, Kenneth. I am constantly astonished by the manner in which he overcomes obstacles on a regular basis.
Which historical figure do you most identify with? Dr. Patricia Bath
Who is your favorite composer? Puccini
Which opera did you see first? Madama Butterfly
What do you consider the most overrated virtue? I’m split between modesty and temperance.
What is your greatest extravagance? Definitely travel.
When and where were you happiest? November 18, 2015 at Touro Hospital – the day I became a mother.
Which opera character would you most like to have dinner with? Charles Blow
What talent would you most like to have? Being a skilled guitarist like my dad.
What is it that you most dislike? Willful ignorance
Who are your favorite writers? Maya Angelou and James Baldwin
What is your most treasured possession? An original copy of my father’s first album.
Chamber opera or Grand opera? Both.
Contemporary or Classic opera? I have to say both again.
