Stage Management Internship Program

The New Orleans Opera Stage Management Internship program is available to anyone residing or studying in the greater New Orleans area.

This program will provide the opportunity to learn about stage management by working with a professional stage management team for a New Orleans Opera production in the 2021-2022 Season.

Candidates should be available for at least one of the following productions:

  • Die Walküre, Act 1: November 6-14, 2021
  • Josephine: December 27, 2021 – January 9, 202
  • La bohème: March 11, 2022 – April 3, 2022

If selected, interns can expect to work 20-30 hours per week and paid at a rate of $15.00 per hour. Candidates with an interest in opera or music with the ability to read music are encouraged to apply by sending a resume to
