Since 1994, Peoples Health has served residents of New Orleans as a provider of healthcare services to people with Medicare. They have been generous community supporters and have been corporate contributors to New Orleans Opera for over a decade. Their financial support for productions has not only bolstered New Orleans Opera’s artistic endeavors but has also played a pivotal role in sustaining the organizations outreach programs, ensuring that the art form reaches diverse audiences throughout the region.
In past years, Peoples Health’s support has been directed towards New Orleans Opera’s fall productions including Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel in 2022-2023, Wagner’s Die Walküre in 2021-2022, and Redler’s The Falling and the Rising in 2019-2020. This timing has been mutually beneficial, as it coincides with the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, which generally lasts from mid-October through early December. For the 2023-2024 season, Peoples Health’s support will be directed towards our upcoming production of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro on September 29 and October 1.
Peoples Health’s philanthropy serves as an example of how a corporate entity can make a lasting difference in the arts and a meaningful impact on the New Orleans community and we thank them for their dedicated support.
