- Applicants must have an account with YAP Tracker, an online auditions
management tool, and may sign up for free at this link: https://www.yaptracker.com/registerapplicant. Applicants will be required to upload a resume (PDF only) detailing performance experience. Deadline to apply is EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 10, 2023. - Applicants should select the opportunities for which they are interested in auditioning (chorus, mainstage, or both), as well as their preferred audition date and location, within the online application. (Cincinnati Opera is hosting auditions for their productions in Cincinnati and New York City, as well as, New Orleans.)
- Applicants will be notified by email if an audition has been granted and will have the opportunity to schedule an audition time.
- Individuals auditioning for the Cincinnati Opera Chorus should prepare two (2) contrasting arias in their original languages. Individuals auditioning for a mainstage role should prepare five (5) contrasting arias in their original languages. An accompanist will be provided.
The Cincinnati Opera and New Orleans Opera Chorus and mainstage roles are paid professional engagements under the jurisdiction of AGMA, the American Guild of Musical Artists.
Rehearsals and performances for Cincinnati Opera’s 2024 Summer Festival will begin in late May 2024 and run through the end of July 2024. Rehearsals for New Orleans Opera 24-25 season will begin late Summer 2024.
