Culture Collision is dedicated to fostering all of the nonprofit performing and visual arts organizations in the New Orleans metro-area.

For twelve years Culture Colllision has kicked off the cultural season with a unique happy hour. Come get to know the participating visual and performing arts organizations while you connect with like-minded art lovers.

When and Where is Culture Collision?

Culture Collision 13 is Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. at Jefferson Performing Arts Center, 6400 Airline Highway Metairie, Louisiana 70001 near the former Zephyr Field/next to LaSalle Park. FREE PARKING!

Why Should I Attend?

This is your chance to engage in conversations with your beloved performing and visual arts institutions. Delve deeper into those you’ve caught glimpses of and acquaint yourself with new ones. Many of the organizations are generously presenting complimentary raffle prizes and there will performances throughout the event. Culture Collision was created by co-founders Janet Wilson and Jess Civillo with a team of volunteers from New Orleans Opera, WWNO, New Orleans Ballet, Ogden Musuem of Southern Art, Southern Rep, and NOMA. It is now hosted by Jefferson Performing Arts Society in partnership with WWNO 89.9FM.
